Dr Helen Raey

Helen qualified from the University of Birmingham Dental School in 2004 and completed her vocational training before continuing her career in general dental practice across the South-West. She is excited to be working at Malmesbury Dental & Specialist Referral Centre from its opening in April and looks forward to offering patients the benefit of comprehensive care, including specialist treatments, all under one roof.

Helen provides all aspects of general dentistry for patients of all ages, with a gentle and reassuring approach. She takes time to ensure every patient feels comfortable, listened to and fully informed about their treatment options.

She particularly enjoys restorative dentistry, including the placement of white composite fillings, and takes care to tailor treatment plans that achieve natural, long-lasting results.

Known for her calm manner, Helen is especially experienced in treating nervous patients, helping them feel relaxed and confident throughout their dental journey.

Helen has a special interest in the connection between oral health and overall well-being. With additional training in nutrition, she takes a holistic approach to dentistry and enjoys helping patients understand the links between lifestyle, nutrition, and both their dental and general health.

She is committed to ongoing professional development and to providing high-quality, patient-centred care in a relaxed and friendly environment.

Outside of work, Helen enjoys cooking, baking, and, of course, eating good (gluten-free!) food. She likes to keep active and spend time outdoors with her daughter and partner, and is a keen (if novice!) gardener who enjoys growing her own fruit and vegetables. Helen also enjoys travelling and seeking out the sun and looks forward to doing more of this in the future. Some of her favourite destinations include Slovenia, Vietnam and the Philippines.
